Old miller welder generator

I am new to this forum and I have a question and a problem. I have a old AEA200L miller welder generator Serial #K209205 and it is only putting out about 40 volts. No burnt smell and IO did try to excite it witha 12 volt battery but this did not help. Does someone have a manual for this welder or any idea

It has 1 110 outlet on the front and a tecumseh single cylinder gas engine with electric start. I believe it is an AEA.
