The amount of imprint % you get per cuddle is dependant on how many imprints are possible before that dino reaches maturity. If 3 imprints are possible, each one will give ~33%. If 10 imprints are possible, each will give 10%. If 7 imprints are possible, each will give 14%. etc etc.
